Job Summary

The System Analyst will perform tasks related to but not limited to, analysis, training, testing, documentation, problem resolution, and implementation of applications in addition to creating, preparing, and deploying detailed workflows, processes, reports, job aids, and recommended improvements. Provide technical support, diagnosis of application errors, and troubleshooting with system issues and will assess the training needs of end users to design effective training materials and techniques for individuals with different levels of computer literacy. Must be able to work independently or collaboratively with leadership, colleagues, and with program staff.

Essential Qualifications: 1-year industry-related experience in IT/Clinical settings or within the applicable area in healthcare operations and prior experience in EMR implementations and/or support is preferred. Must possess strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to exercise initiative and judgment in effectively planning, organizing, and independently prioritizing work assignments, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects and/or priorities. Must also be able to communicate effectively, both orally and written with all levels of the organization and be a team player. Technical expertise in subject matter areas demonstrated by documented experience in analysis, process design and workflow, research, installation/implementation, and support of EMR systems. Must have an understanding of the implementation and/or maintenance of Electronic Medical Record systems. Must have a valid driver’s license as travel is required up to 50% of the time. Mileage is reimbursed at the current GSA rate.
