POSITION
SUMMARY:
North Country Healthcare (NCH) is seeking an experienced
Director of FP&A to play an integral part in leading our health-system
managerial accounting team. We’re looking for an energetic, process-improvement-oriented
individual with enthusiasm for developing people and expertise in overseeing
critical managerial accounting. This position reports to the System Vice
President of Finance. It regularly interacts with the Director of Accounting
and the CFO, as well as other leaders across the system to advance the
strategic mission, vision, and values of the organization.
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
field. Master’s degree preferred.
Licensure:
Must possess a valid driver’s
license.
All employees and contracted staff will have either
successful completion of an American Heart Association* accredited course in
Basic Life Support (BLS) (for clinical staff), or Heartsaver CPR AED (for
nonclinical staff), and renewal on a regular basis, with up to a three-month
grace period after the expiration date.
Certification(s):
N/A
Skills:
Computer literate with Microsoft
Office and, more specifically, Excel.
English speaking and writing
skills are required.
Work
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance
position. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.

annual budgeting process, including capital expenditure planning

audit preparation in coordination with the Finance team
