Job Summary:
The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for insuring Clinical Pharmacy Services meet the pharmaceutical needs of Weeks Medical Center patients. The Director of Pharmacy is also the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) whose duties and responsibilities are designated by the rules and regulations of the State of NH. The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the administrative operation of the Pharmacy Department, including the direct supervision for all Pharmacy personnel. The Pharmacy Director reports to the Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer.
Essential Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited pharmacy school with a current license to practice in the state of New Hampshire required. At least 3 years of Clinical Pharmacy experience in a Hospital Pharmacy setting and at least 1 year of management/supervisory experience are required.
