POSITION SUMMARY:
The Engineer Analyst Specialist is responsible for maintaining, programming, and daily monitoring of the Trane Building Automation Systems (BAS), Door Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems, Nurse Call / Panic Alarm Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems at all Weeks Medical Center facilities. This role also involves leading the Maintenance Department as the Lead Electrician and training other maintenance staff on the operation of all responsible systems
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required, Degree in Data Science, Statistics or Computer Science is advantageous.
Certification:
- Advanced training and certifications in system automation systems.
Licensure:
- NH Master Electrician License.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Association* accredited course in Basic Life Support (BLS) (for clinical staff), or Heartsaver CPR AED (for nonclinical staff), and renewal on a regular basis, with up to a three-month grace period after the expiration date.
Skills:
- Advanced computer knowledge, including programming and familiarity with Trane TU/SC/ES, Open Access, System Technologies, Salient Network Video Recording, and Microsoft Office products.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in electrical and system automation systems
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as Lead Electrician for the Maintenance Department.
- Evaluate and enhance existing Trane SC/ES programs, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Program and upgrade Trane BAS, Open Access, Salient NVR, and Nurse Call / Panic System equipment for optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Maintain all computer-based automation systems within the Maintenance Department, in coordination with the IT Department.
- Conduct daily monitoring and review of Trane BAS, Open Access, Salient NVR, Fire Alarm, and Nurse Call/Panic automation systems with the Facilities Manager.
- Train maintenance staff on automated systems for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Perform machinist duties, including troubleshooting, rebuilding valves, replacing pump seals, and aligning mechanical drive systems.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and align personal priorities with organizational objectives.
