Job Description



Job Summary:

Seeking a full-time (4.0, 4.5, or 5.0 days per week) physician assistant (PA) to join a highly productive and popular ENT surgeon/allergist and ENT/allergy PA at AVH and selected outreach clinic sites to meet increase clinical demands for services.

Provides office-based ENT, allergy, and selected dermatology services to new and established patients of all ages

  • evaluation and treatment of common conditions of ear, nose, throat, mouth, sinuses, salivary glands, face and neck
  • medication management; monitoring of medication compliance
  • education/counseling
  • ordering diagnostic tests
  • referral to ENT surgeon for operative procedures (e.g., tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, tympanostomy tubes, endoscopic sinus surgery, skin cancer surgery)
  • referral to related other specialties (e.g., audiology, cardiology, neurology, pulmonology, sleep medicine)
  • performance of common ENT and facial skin procedures
  • communication with PCP’s.

Most commonly encountered diagnoses are:

  • Allergic rhinitis
  • Dizziness and vestibular disorders
  • Dysphagia
  • Epistaxis
  • Eustachian tube disorders
  • GERD and laryngopharyngeal reflux
  • Hearing loss and related disorders
  • Hoarseness
  • Impacted cerumen
  • Skin disorders of head and neck, including actinic keratoses and skin cancers
  • Sinusitis

Essential Qualifications: 

Candidates must be board certified or eligible and able to obtain a NH license.  Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in broad spectrum of ENT/allergy services.  Select candidates with no ENT/allergy  experience or new grads, may be considered.  Must be team oriented, collaborative, and patient focused. High level of customer service (patient satisfaction) is expected with excellent, respectful communication with all members of care team.
