Job Description

Job Summary:

Under general direction, cleans all areas of the hospital by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors. Demonstrate ability to utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure. Reports to the Supervisor, Materials Management/Housekeeping/Laundry.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a grammar school education and be able to follow written and/or oral instructions. Prior Housekeeping experience in a Healthcare Facility is preferred but not required. On the job training will be provided. Strong inter-personal skills are necessary. Experience/Specialized Skills: Prior Housekeeping experience in a Healthcare Facility is preferred but not required. Required Education/Course(s)/Training: High school education
