Inventory Technician
MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
Assist materials management with day-to-day tasks of general stocking, receiving goods, inventory, and assumes necessary duties when the Materials Management Manager is away. Reports directly to the Materials Management
Director. Maintain timely and effective communication with assigned staff and customers. Establish the proper handling of requisitions, orders, receipt and storage of stock. Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and communicate with customers regarding stocking, ordering and deliveries. Serve as mentor to staff and identifies efforts for recognition.

- High School Diploma
Work Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Should be familiar with identification of Medical/Surgical Basic computer skills are necessary to assist employees with minor software problems and ordering supplies in the absence of the Materials Manager. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.

SHIPPING
- Ensures the accuracy of all shipping documents and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping activities
- Assures that shipping counts match picking documents and assists in resolving any
discrepancies
- Ensures proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
- Schedules inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and capacities
RECEIVING
- Ensures the accuracy of all shipping documents and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping activities
- Assures that shipping counts match picking documents and assists in resolving any discrepancies
BUYER
- Creates purchasing orders for office supplies
- Expedites any deliveries needed
- Checks stocks on units and restocks depleted items
- Assists patient care staff with identification of supply needs
- Purchases supplies and stock via phone, fax, and any electronic means
- Schedules Courier as needed
- All other duties as assigned
DELIVER
- Deliver all packages to all departments
