Job Summary:
Weeks Medical Center has a LICSW position available to work with our strong, passionate, well-established Behavioral Health Team and North Country Recovery Center as an outpatient clinician for child and/or adult patients in our Lancaster and Whitefield locations. WMC is a Critical Access Hospital with multiple Rural Health Clinics with Behavioral Health integrated with Primary Care. Weeks is an NHSC-approved site for Service Loan Repayment Program. Our practice provides well-appointed offices, an EMR system with electronic prescribing, peer consultation groups, and dedicated professionals with whom to collaborate. Candidates must work collaboratively with medical providers and health care professionals. The ideal candidate has competency in providing psychotherapy with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations. Specific areas of clinical expertise are also valued. Interest and competence in providing group treatment are a plus.
Essential Qualifications: M.S.W. from an accredited School of social work, current state licensure, and a minimum of 2 years post-graduate practice in a health care setting required. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to maintain a good working relationship with all levels of personnel, medical staff, administration, and the public are required. Certification or experience with Addiction would be beneficial but not required.
