About North Country Healthcare (NCH):
Job Summary:
The LPN internship program is a minimum of 24 hours per week until you graduate from your RN program you will be assigned to a primary preceptor. You will work most of your shifts with your primary preceptor - an experienced RN. Your preceptor is your guide, educator, and mentor. By the end of your internship, you will be ready to take on a typical patient assignment of five/six patients within the LPN scope of practice. When you complete your RN program, you will be expected to sit for the RN NCLEX exam within four weeks after graduation. Once you pass your RN NCLEX and we verify your license, you will continue your orientation, with your preceptor, in the RN scope of practice. The RN orientation is a full-time (36 hours per week) commitment
Essential Qualifications: Current NH LPN license, Enrolled in an RN program, Current BLS certification, Basic Dysrhythmia preferred, Excellent interpersonal communications skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
