Job Summary:

The Scheduling Team Lead is responsible for providing clinical oversight and management to the scheduling department. Communication with staff daily to identify schedule changes and challenges will be the primary focus of the supervisor. Assisting with triage calls, monitoring reports, and ensuring quality are maintained will all be the responsibility of the supervisor. This is a fast-paced position that requires a multi-tasker who can move quickly with a high degree of accuracy.

Essential Qualifications:  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and 2+ years of recent home care or hospice experience preferred, other scheduling experience will be considered. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Ability to give effective constructive criticism and mentor members of the scheduling department, work under pressure and role model agency values and problem-solve and troubleshoot quickly and effectively.  Must have strong organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills.  Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and basic knowledge of medical terminology are required. Access to an operable, insured motor vehicle and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record of safe driving practices is also required.
