POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing and Event Planning Assistant is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and event coordination. This role involves collaborating with various teams to organize marketing campaigns, develop promotional materials, and plan events that enhance the company’s brand image and promote client engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail, ensuring that all marketing efforts and events are executed seamlessly.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Associate’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field
Certification:
- Professional certification in Event Planning or Marketing (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional, HubSpot Content Marketing) is a plus.
??Licensure:?
- Valid driver’s license may be required for travel to event locations.
- Association* accredited course in Basic Life Support (BLS) (for clinical staff), or Heartsaver CPR AED (for nonclinical staff), and renewal on a regular basis, with up to a three-month grace period after the expiration date.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CRM tools).
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
??Work Experience:?
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or a similar role.
- Experience in creating and managing digital content and social media campaigns is preferred.
- Familiarity with event management and marketing analytics tools
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns to promote products and services.
- Support the planning, organization, and execution of various events, including seminars, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate logistical elements of events, including venue selection, catering, and transportation.
- Draft, edit, and produce marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, and newsletters.
- Manage social media platforms and engage with audiences to enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitor practices.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage event budgets.
- Track and report on campaign and event performance using analytics tools.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s website with current content.
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate marketing and event outcomes to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for marketing and event activities.
- Support the development of client and stakeholder relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
- Help in brainstorming new ideas and innovations for marketing and event strategies.
- Provide administrative support for marketing and event planning tasks, including scheduling and managing calendars.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events, providing recommendations for improvement.
