Job Summary:
The Office Nurse is a Registered Nurse or LPN who is responsible for the care and treatment of clients in a medical office as directed by a physician or Advanced Practice Provider . This nurse utilizes the Nursing Process to ensure that quality care is provided to adult and pediatric patients. The Office Nurse is accountable to the Clinical Nurse Supervisor and works closely with medical staff, clinical staff, and support staff. This position is responsible for providing proficient, cardiology triage nursing care in the ambulatory setting.
Essential Qualifications: An experienced RN is preferred, however, an LPN with strong cardiology and/or office experience will be considered. Licensed as a Registered Nurse or LPN; be computer literate; hold current BLS certification; 3 years of pertinent experience is preferred.
