Job Summary:
The Mental Health / SUD Department Manager is responsible for daily operational, financial, and administrative tasks related to running an efficient and effective program at multiple locations. Works closely with providers, clinical support, and administrative team to develop policies and procedure that support standards of care in a growing outpatient practice. Responsible for the development of goals and objectives to monitor and meet quality measures. Accountable for various tasks to include: business development and expansion, generating capital and operating budgets, staff development, strategic planning, financial reporting and variance analysis. Essential Qualifications: Must have a background in mental health / SUD with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in health care management; degree in business, management, nursing, social work, or related fields will be considered. Excellent leadership and organizational skills are essential, along with highly developed written and verbal skills. Must be highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of gathering data and making sound decisions.
