Job Summary:

Reporting to the  Patient Financial Services Manager the Patient Financial Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising all assigned day-to-day functions within the PFS department for North Country Healthcare (NCH). This position is a key contributor within the PFS Department leadership team to provide efficient, capable, and stable patient financial services for NCH and its affiliates.  Direct reports may include PFS Team Leads and individual contributors.

Job Responsibilities: The position will assist in operations for billing, follow-ups, denials management, vendor management among other key responsibilities within the revenue cycle; monitor and report on PFS key indicators (KPIs) and provide inventory planning; lead process improvement initiatives; and will provide ongoing coaching and development of PFS staff.  The position is also responsible for contributing to the development of the program by improving, modifying, and/or implementing new procedures and assisting the NCH Director of PFS in all department and management tasks in addition to all other management duties assigned.

Job Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic health record systems (Meditech experience preferred), third party portal, regulations and requirements, and claims clearinghouses and a minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare revenue cycle.
