About North Country Healthcare (NCH):
POSITION SUMMARY: The Philanthropy Coordinator will be responsible for
developing, implementing, and measuring the success of philanthropy programs,
fostering positive relationships with donors and internal and external
stakeholders, and promoting the organization’s Mission through strategic
community outreach. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent
interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Mission and service. Tasks will
include, but not be limited to, implementation and modification (as
appropriate) of philanthropic tactics. He/she will work closely with internal
and external stakeholders to help meet organizational goals. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education Associates Degree or
higher in a related field preferred Licensure N/A Registration N/A Certification(s) N/A Skills Clear and
concise communication (written, oral, interpersonal skills required) Work Experience Five+ years in a
philanthropy/fundraising capacity preferred . ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. With
approval of the Volunteer Services & Community Relations Director,
develops, implements and refines philanthropy programs for NCH affiliates,
ensuring alignment with organizational goals 2. Develops
and executes donor events and communication to ensure positive relationships
with internal and external stakeholders 3. Assesses
opportunities for development/standardization of donor platforms, while
ensuring affiliate needs are met 4. Represents
NCH and affiliates at community fundraisers, as appropriate 5. Works
closely with NCH Marketing and Community Relations Coordinators, providing
information on needed collateral materials to meet department initiatives. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: 1. Identifies
and works with Volunteer Services & Community Relations Director on
appropriate internal and external donor opportunities 2. Provides
relevant and regular status updates and reports to Volunteer Services &
Community Relations Director 3. Communicates,
as needed, with other NCH and affiliate stakeholders, as appropriate, to
support NCH and affiliate goals.
