Job Summary:
**Weeks Medical Center **is seeking an experienced full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their cohesive Behavioral Health team and provide direct care to patients of all ages in beautiful Northern NH Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00 pm. No call. No weekends. This is an opportunity to work with a seasoned, collaborative team to provide robust Behavioral Health services with over 50 combined years of experience to communities in Northern NH. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of outpatient and substance use disorder experience and a Suboxone waiver, or willingness to obtain. The role of the PMHNP is to assess, diagnose and treat the mental health needs of patients. Many PMHNPs provide therapy and prescribe medications for patients who have mental health disorders or substance abuse problems. ?Successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited program of study based upon current ARNP standards of practice, hold current NH State Licensure and National Certification, have 3-5 minimum years of outpatient experience, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to maintain a good working relationship with all levels of personnel, medical staff, administration, and the public.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide direct patient care services to patients of all ages. These services will include but not be limited to: recording physical and mental status, performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, implementing and managing plans of care, as well as prescribing and dispensing medications.
Essential Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited program of study based upon current ARNP/PA standards of practice. Must have a current NH State Licensure and National Certification. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to maintain a good working relationship with all levels of personnel, medical staff, administration, and the public.
