Standard NCH Quality Function

Salaried, exempt

M-F, 8A-5P, (occasional evening/weekend/flex possible)

Reports to Chief Quality Officer


Job functions:

* Work with IT to develop metrics/graphs to support hospital operations

* Identify and report upon sources of process variation to support hospital operations

* Owner for all affiliate Quality metrics, including updates, reporting, and tracking

* Facilitate affiliate Quality Board / working group meetings

* Participate in improvement projects as data/variation expert and validation support

* CMS survey preparedness lead for affiliate

o Support other affiliates for CMS survey preparedness

* Data collection and entry for key affiliate/system goals, as needed and supported by the CQO

* Owner for regular data submissions to federal, state, and other government and similar agencies to maintain current and future accreditations and payments, as assigned


Education

BA in clinical, medical, or healthcare related field, or equivalent


Experience

3 years of hospital Quality experience preferred

Communication, problem solving, statistical and analytical abilities

Organizational skills

Benchmarking, quality or process management and measurement tools
