Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. As a Charge Nurse, you will be supervising nursing staff and monitoring their needs, will coordinate daily administrative duties, including schedules, nursing assignments, and patient care, and will ensure the units run smoothly and efficiently adhering to facility policy and procedures as well as ensuring compliance with all health and safety guidelines. The Charge Nurse will be required to work scheduled shifts in the Emergency Room and Med Surg. The Charge RN is responsible to their Nurse Manager and ultimately, Chief Nursing Officer.
Essential Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing and a current active RN license is required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required, TNCC preferred. 1 year of experience as an RN is preferred. Must have proficient oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
